United for Impact Provides $630,000+ for Nonprofits

May 26th, 2021

Thank you, central Ohio, for being United for Impact! More than 2,000 donors and a number of generous corporate sponsors helped local nonprofits raise $341,997 and unlock an additional $289,00 in bonus prize money in just 4 1/2 days!

The excitement grew throughout the week of May 10 to May 14 as 81 nonprofits worked together to raise money and inspire donors. As the nonprofits reached each of the four levels of giving or number of donors, bonus dollars were unlocked from the sponsorship prize pool. Best of all, 100% of all donations raised through United for Impact went to the nonprofits and every organization received a portion of the prize pool money based on how much they raised and how many donors they had.

Community Development for All People set a goal of raising over $50,000 and surpassed that goal by bringing in more than $52,000. The organization was awarded an additional $28,800+ from the prize pool. In the donor category, The Childhood League Center had 233 individual donors, which helped it earn an additional $23,000+ from the prize pool.

“This was the first time we were able to participate in something like this. We truly enjoyed the community aspect in collecting funds compared to the competitive aspect in prior years, and believe this helped increase donors as well,” shared Sarah Brown of The Ohio Hispanic Coalition. “We are proud of our work and the donors we have collected, and amazed at the support from you and the sponsors.”
