Description:

MHAOhio supports Central Ohio by guiding people in need of mental health services to appropriate providers in times of crisis. We work with individuals and their families through each step on their paths to wellness, from making initial referrals, to providing free mental health services, to helping maintain stability and productivity once it is achieved.

Mission:

Mental Health America of Franklin County (MHAFC) works to promote mental health and improve the lives of those affected by mental health issues through advocacy, education and support services in our community.

Programs and Services:

MHAOhio supports Central Ohio by guiding people in need of mental health services to appropriate providers in times of crisis or to avoid crisis by providing unique mental health services that may not otherwise be available. We work with individuals and their families through each step on their paths to wellness, from making initial referrals, to providing free mental health services, to helping maintain stability and productivity once it is achieved. Our Accessing Mental Health Care program addresses crisis by engaging people in mental health resources through two activity centers including POEM (Perinatal Outreach and Encouragement for Moms) and Get Connected (ombudsman behavioral health system navigation) services.
