Directions for Youth & Families offers community-bsed mental health and prevention services that utilize a resiliency-oriented and trauma-informed framework. DFYF offers specialized mental health counseling, case management, kindergarten readiness, afterschool and summer programming to meet the diverse needs of our youth and family population.
Position overview:
Dfyf is seeking a dynamic licensed social worker or licensed professional counselor to provide mental health counseling, case management, and advocacy and support to youth within their designated elementary, middle, or high school environment. Collaboration with key school professionals, along with parents is a vital compenent. As a school-based clinician you will conduct mental health assessments, create individualized treatement plans, and provide ongoing mental health counseling 1-2 times per week.
Qualifications:
LSW/LPC or LISW/LPCC Required or working toward licensure
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Social Work / Mental Health Counseling
Previous experience working with youth/families preferred
Valid Driver’s License & Auto Insurance
