Job Description:
South Side Thrive Collaborative is a collective impact initiative with a mission to support residents of the South Side of Columbus in living healthy, fulfilling lives by strengthening the collective efforts of community partners. As the backbone organization for SSTC, Nationwide Children’s will employ this position but the performance expectations will be set by SSTC leadership. T
he SSTC Project Coordinator will be responsible for the organization and oversight of projects that are assigned to them by the Executive Director. This role assists with projects related to marketing and communications, community engagement events, network convenings and meetings, and engagement of key stakeholders part of the collaborative. This position will be responsible for handling the day-to-day operations of the identified projects through the facilitation of tasks and reporting of outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the development of the SSTC brand voice, communications strategies, and action plans to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Plans and coordinates marketing and communications activities for SSTC. Crafts relevant marketing messages and designs materials for target audience. Implements content delivery through various channels including digital, print, social media, and other communications.
- Coordinates, schedules, and plans the logistics for SSTC meetings and activities, including coalition meetings, employer partner meetings, and other convenings that advance the purpose of SSTC.
- Develops and coordinates the logistics of SSTC community engagement activities, including the resident advisory project team, ambassador program, and special events.
- Compiles data reports of related marketing, communications, and meeting activities, and contributes to the evaluation and documentation of plan results and reports these to the appropriate individuals within the organization.
- Contributes to management of grants and administrative activities.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in a health or social services related field, or equivalent work experience, necessary. Acceptable candidates also include individuals working towards degree.
- Two to four years experience in a community-based setting in areas such as health care, social service, and/or community service required.
- Must be able to organize and coordinate multiple project deadlines and deliverables while keeping attention to detail.
- Strong written, verbal and electronic communication, including editing skills, required.
- Must possess the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
