Get Connected Program Manager Position Description

Schedule
Full time position. Work hours are generally 8:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday-Friday (flexible in consultation with supervisor), averaging at least 40 hours per week. Some weekend and evening hours may be required.
Status and Supervision
Exempt position. Reports to the Get Connected Program Director.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Program Director in managing the daily operational elements of the Get Connected (GC) Program
- Assist and advocate for GC program participants who utilize mental health and/or substance use services and their families in understanding their rights and responsibilities.
- Provide timely information, referral services, and follow-up for individuals/family members in navigating the mental health, substance use, and other systems that impact their recovery.
o Provide support and resources to individuals who might be overlooked by the current system due totransitions or shifting circumstances in service providers or other situations.
o Serve as a third-party intermediary for program participants who are hesitant to use their providers’ grievance procedures
o Manage and regularly update GC provider directory and outreach to new community referral sources
• Manage the Family Advocate (FA) Services of the GC Program
o Identify GC program participants who would benefit from Family Advocate(FA)services and manage service provision and follow-up for those participants.
o Follow referral,evaluation,and outcomes procedures for new FA participants in accordance with programmatic policies and procedures
o Coordinate the need sof FA participants by working closely with FA volunteers
• In conjunction with the Lead FA Program Volunteer with support from the GC Program Director:
o Manage program reporting to funders(manage monthly participant roster,complete intake and closing screenings, monitor System of Care units of service)
o Manage FA volunteer assignments and hours data for planning and reporting
o Manage and collaborate with Program Director in the development and maintenance of the FA volunteer training curriculum and volunteer training program
o Coordinate training and consistent appreciation/recognition for FA volunteers o Manage ongoing recruitment of new volunteers
o Manage volunteer stipends and expense reimbursement
- Collaborate with program director in the continuous updating/development of program policy and procedure manuals for GC and FA services
- Assist in the development of GC and FA program marketing materials
- Liaise with community provider agencies and programs to enhance referral base for GC and FA and coordinateincoming opportunities for community outreach and education
- Work in collaboration with program director to develop funding proposals and provision and interpretation of reporting data
- Balance individual daily client workload with other job responsibilities in accordance with programmatic policies and procedures
- Other duties, within reason and scope of the position’s primary duties, may be assigned after consultation with employee and supervisor.Benefits

Salary
$48,000-$52,000 per year. Salary commensurate with experience and other qualifications
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field.
- At least one year’s experience in the mental health/SUD system.
- Experience working with diverse communities. Strong mediation and negotiation skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Comfortable with outreach and program development.
- Valid driver’s license or means of transportation.Preferred
- At least five years’ experience in the mental health/SUD system, in addition to bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Clinical assessment skills.
- Program development skills.
- Volunteer management skills.
- Client rights and advocacy background.
