Job Description:

Job Purpose:

Process provider forms, claims and adjustments for early childhood nutrition programs.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1.      Process provider forms, claims payments and adjustments, including data entry, scanning, imaging, etc.

2.      Ensure databases are current and accurate.

3.      Provide administrative support including filing, answering phones, incoming and outgoing mail, etc.

4.      Process claims for reimbursement in compliance with USDA, ODE, and CHA regulations.

5.      Provide customer service to providers, staff and others responding to questions and requests, including explaining and/or training on departmental processes and procedures.

6.      Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Qualifications:

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         Three years’ experience including general office procedures

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

·         Aptitude for learning software applications

·         Ability to work with diverse individuals

·         Ability to work with numbers including math skills

·         Proficiency with office equipment including fax machine, copier, scanner, computer, etc

·         Attention to detail

·         Ability to work independently within framework of guidelines or procedures

·         Completed at least four years of related job duties successfully

·         Requires minimal supervision or training to complete job responsibilities

·         Shows initiative in taking on new tasks and meeting departmental goals

·         Team player, unflappable, resilient, and positive

·         Organization and time management skills

·         Oral and written communications skills
