Neighborhood Best Practices Conference

Register today for the 2017 Neighborhood Best Practices Conference, where you’ll learn and engage in community building at numerous workshops, meet neighbors from diverse neighborhoods, and learn about best practices and resources available to support neighborhoods.

Reflecting this year’s theme, Strengthening Families – Strengthening Neighborhoods, workshops will include: addressing community trauma, successful community engagement programs, faith- based partnerships creating rich places of safety, the ways youth voices are helping build new and stronger communities, and much more.

Morning Keynote Speaker

Deborah Johnson, affectionately referred to as “DJ the Sports Mom,” is a charismatic and compassionate pillar of our community. She brings her extensive involvement in initiatives that focus on sports and parenting to the conference.

Lunch Keynote Speaker

Roy Hall, a former Ohio State football national champion and four-year NFL wide receiver, is now president and co-founder of the Driven Foundation, which has impacted thousands of central Ohio families since 2008. Roy delivers motivational messages that inject hope, plant encouragement, and awaken the will to win in the hearts of many.
