Greater Columbus Community House, a settlement house, has been brightening lives and strengthening families in Columbus since 1919 and is recognized nationally for providing high-impact, community-based programs with measurable outcomes. As an anchor in the community, we have built positive relationships with residents, families, schools, businesses, and other community partners. We are nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation and the National Association of the Education of Young Children. Programs/services focus on five core services areas: Early Childhood Services - Kindergarten Readiness Preparedness Youth Services - Academic Success and Social/Emotional Development Family Services - Family Strengthening Senior Services -Enhanced Quality of Life Neighborhood Services - Household Stabilization.
