Workplace Health Manager

Position Description

The Workplace Health division of MHAOhio helps employers provide a mentally healthy work environment. Primarily, this is done through the provision of Occumetrics, our data-driven organizational health assessment designed to help organizational leadership measure and improve employee wellbeing and job satisfaction.

 

Schedule

Work hours are generally 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, flexible based upon work demands and in consultation with supervisor; full-time exempt position. Work setting can be hybrid to include time in office and remote or can be fully in office. (No option to be fully remote.)

 

Supervision

Reports to Director of Workplace Health

 

Primary Responsibilities

·       Manage Occumetrics grants from various funders

o   Manage recruitment, orientation, progress tracking, problem solving, closure interview, and communications with assigned organizations

o   Conduct up to 15 Occumetrics assessments over the course of 12 months, including:

       Data gathering (survey, focus groups, CEO call)

       Qualitative data analysis; some quantitative analysis, in conjunction with the team’s data analyst

       Final report and recommendations

       Presentation of findings to staff and optional implementation support

·       In conjunction with the Workplace Health Director:

o   Assist with other Occumetrics assessments

o   Conduct public presentations about the program as needed

o   Assist with program funding submissions, budget preparation, and strategic planning as needed

o   Conduct continuous quality improvements of the assessment process; ensure that best practices are built into the process as well as within the common assessment recommendations 

o   Participate in any other initiatives to address workforce issues as requested

 

Other duties, within reason and scope of the position’s primary duties, may be assigned after consultation between employee and supervisor.

 

 

 

Qualifications  

·       Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, human resources, business, or a related field 

·       At least five years’ experience resulting in the abilities to 

o   Provide attuned, skillful communication both verbally and in writing, often about topics that require high levels of emotional intelligence

o   Work well independently and within a multi-disciplinary team environment, managing multiple priorities with efficiency and organization while receiving input from many sources

o   Demonstrate outstanding decision-making skills, judgment, and attention to detail

o   Be proficient with Microsoft Office products

·       Valid driver’s license

·       Preferred qualifications include experience facilitating group conversations; and experience gathering, analyzing, and explaining quantitative and qualitative data

 

Salary

$50,000-53,000 per year, commensurate with experience and other qualifications.
