Climate

The person in this position must be able to relate to and communicate effectively with individuals from all backgrounds, including CPO residents, Supportive Services staff, CPO management staff, and community partners, as well as funders and researchers.   A key function of this role is to integrate all that is being learned “on the ground” at CPO,  with theories, models and practices used by the best thinkers in the nation related to the goals we are pursuing, in order to benefit CPO resident outcomes and leverage CPO as a learning environment for best practices.   One objective of this role is to integrate theory and practice.  The day-to-day management of the Supportive Services staff cannot be overlooked, but the goal is to grow the capacity of internal staff to be function heads within their areas of assignment and expertise.  Supporting this professional growth and development is a key to being able to realize the full potential of this role for our higher level objectives.
