Salary: $40,000 – $55,000

Position Summary:
To provide exceptional customer service to volunteers, youth, and their families to efficiently and effectively enroll them in Big Brothers Big Sisters programs. As a subject matter expert, collaborates with and provides input to Program and Agency leadership for strategic planning, continuous improvement, and other needs that add value to the overall success of the Agency.
Position Responsibilities
• Assists in the development, implementation, and support of and provides effective mentoring programs to the Clark and Madison County areas. This includes the extension of programs related to Camp Oty’Okwa and MENTOR Central Ohio
• Develops and maintains effective relationships with community partners
• Serves as agency liaison to the community through participation in various community organizations and events
• Plans, manages, and directs efforts to attract corporate and individual support for the Agency’s priorities and provide leadership for continued stewardship and solicitation of new donors in the Clark and Madison County areas
• Works collaboratively with the Fund Development team to discuss the practicality of potential new grants and advise on other fundraising opportunities
• Responsible for providing accurate and timely program statistics according to Agency and national standards
• Assists in the hiring and training of additional team members, which may include the supervision and support of employees, interns, and volunteers
• Works closely with Agency leadership to address department needs and strategies for future growth
• Works closely with Agency and Program leaders to continually seek to improve Program functions and services and ensures that performance is directly in line with Agency goals and strategic initiatives
• Attends activities and events as required
• Helps in other program areas as part of the team when needed
• To help achieve the mission of the overall Agency, staff may have to assume additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Chief Operating Office or their designee
Requirements
• Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. A degree in social sciences and a minimum of two years’ experience is preferred
• Must have viable transportation and valid drivers’ license to meet job responsibilities
