Job Description:
Background
The Osteopathic Heritage Foundation and Osteopathic Heritage Foundation of Nelsonville (the Foundations) are 501(c)(3) private, independent foundations. The Foundations are governed by separate, independent boards of directors, but share a common mission to improve the health and quality of life in the community through education, research and service consistent with our osteopathic heritage.
Position Summary
The Executive Coordinator provides advanced, proactive administrative support to the President/CEO and Vice President. Reporting to the President/CEO, the Executive Coordinator also provides support to the Foundation Boards and Committees, serves as a liaison between the executive office and external partners; assists with office administration and coordination with the Foundation’s retained accounting, investment and information technology firms; and works collaboratively with Foundation staff to support implementation of certain organizational initiatives.
Qualifications
· Five to seven years of experience as an executive assistant or senior administrative role in an environment with multiple objectives and activities, preferably in a nonprofit and/or philanthropic setting.
· Ability to exercise a high level of discretion, critical thinking and judgement in handling sensitive and confidential information.
· Experience in designing and implementing efficient and accurate processes to manage executive administrative work.
· Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
· Extensive experience with Microsoft Office products.
· Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and resources simultaneously.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position. The hours of work are established by the President/CEO. Remote computer connectivity is supported by the Foundations to allow reasonable flexibility when out-of-office work is approved by the President/CEO or Vice President. Occasional evenings and weekend meetings required.
